I'm Speechless...

Best. Parody. Ever.

Alright, however...

I was disappointed by the over-use of the typical OoT 'Navi' sounds. Scratch that, I was disappointed by fact there WAS a faerie. True, It might of come fitted with a true, in-depth backstory, but that isn't fooling anyone.

Nice music. Hardcore rock. Not like we've seen THAT before anywhere...

Otherwise, good job. It was short enough for me to stay focused, but long enough to make it interesting.

I was disappointed my the lack of Toploader, however. (Title referance)

Kudos

Kudos to you for not being affraid of having... (GASP!) A BRITISH ACCENT! I'm not bothered if it's Simon Kegg or Johnny Vegas who voiced this - it was good. I didn't see the humour in it, and, I'm British myself (GASP! OMG, I'M BRITISH AND I DIDN'T FIND IT FUNNEH!11) however, I did see the immense wit and irony put into this. For all of you who doesn't know - Johnny Casavona was an unstoppable sex machine of the Imperial era. Back in 'dem days he wouldn't even even thought to wear a condom - so it is understandable that an apparent 'modern-day' Casavona doesn't know how, either.

Animation-wise, it was good, it was original. The lip-sync was truly off-timing, but otherwise everything ran smoothly. The graphics weren't that special, but they are good enough to tell what's going on. The sound, like I said, was great and clear. No violence, which is always good, because that is immensely over-done on NG.

Good 'un, lad.

Some of that Mark Stylin' to the Max... Again.

Another movie featuring all the trademarks of one of yer movies: Strange wit. Interestingly voiced characters. Strange objects being used as a method of transport, and what have you. It is original, still. And it is still, as always, appealing to the masses.

Except, I feel you have lost something in all your days away from Flash. This may of been made for a 'collab' but that doesn't really give for an excuse to submit a movie that is too short to be classed as such just because a previous project failed. Having a looped video was a step-back, too. There are no menus, no 'play' button - and no 'pause', except for the dreaded 'X' in the corner of the window.

The magic we have observed for ages upon ages in Cactuar and Tonberry is still there, it is just that this perticular piece could of been better.

Massive Fan

Yeah, this review is slightly biased, since I recieved word of your site way before I ever heard of Lodger's presence on NewGrounds - your music is awesome, and this flash and its rating here just proves that. Slick graphics. Slick music. Slick everything.

Truly great.

Beautiful

I won't go by the usual NewGrounds rating system when reviewing this movie, simply because its too original and fresh for that. This is obviously a protest. But not one too serious set to Oasis or a stupid MARUIJANA IZ C00L!11 plea from a high 12 year old. This protest has style. It has humour. The animation is flawless, if not a little lacking on the graphical side. The lyrics are true and hilarious. Perhaps too funny for people to take any true meaning from them, but still enough to keep interest from people like me.

Well done!

Not A Bad Start

'Tis a good idea, especially since this is obviously going to be supported by the forum itself, so you have selected your fanbase quite wisely. Then again, no doubt you'll have more than just simply a few people wanting the be in the movie. Being a writer myself, I know the hardest thing to do is to go against the begging masses and stick to a hardcore story without including a billion other characters/people.

There's obviously not much to go on. For the 30 seconds which is avaible, I'd say the animation is smooth, the graphics are a novelty and Gaia-like. But most of all, I compliment you on your strange and original choice of music. Its nice to hear some Ballroom Blitz for once in a while, not simply crappy, over-done metal stuff.

So far, so good. Just don't rush it.

Bloody amazing!

Alright. So I load up this movie, being quite skeptical that it really might not deserve to be number one of all time, especially with a poor preloader.

Then the music starts. The beat kicks in. And it all makes sense.

I don't really tend to like music videos, since they usually are a piece of crap (featuring Goku!). They also feature some heavy metal shit which no one really wants to listen to.

This animation was completely the opposite. All of the frames fitted perfectly in with the storyline, timing and about everything else of the song. Just doing something as simple as making your own version of a classic song has made this Number One. Everything about it was superb... the graphics... the subtle humour... even the violence!

God bless yer!

Whoa, ch-ch-ch-ch-chaaaanges...

It's actually spelt "dudette", Masta.

Anyway, I was suprised how much this varied from The Real Legend 1 and 2. There's a lot more action from the word go, I noticed. With a lot better graphics. Leaning more towards anime perphaps, but that makes it even better.

The opening fight scene was pretty original, actually. Which is rare for anyone to say about a Flash fight. It just didn't feature two characters fighting in hand-to-hand combat, it varied enviroments.

Now to the modern day section. The graphics are much more recongisable as your own style, and so is the dialogue and overall feel of the Flash. However, I did notice many spelling errors in the subtitles, so, always check through before submitting.

Despite the second half of the Flash being "more to your style", I did notice the lack of humour. Which is actually quite good. It means that you can vary your Flashes to great effect, and not just make them all of one genre.

Bit of a cliff-hanger, though.

It made me laugh!

If you made this animation just to practice a few things such as lip syncing, I think you reached your goal. The lip syncing was (almost) perfect.

But this animation had so much more than simply just good lip syncing. The graphics on the fire and characters were excellent. And, suprisingly, you had the best pre-loader I've seen all day. It wasn't just a bar filling up, it was a bar being scribbled! Yay!

The sound was actually quite good. It's just that no one can understand a proper English accent nowadays. Hell (kekeke), I can imagine the devil actually speaking like that. And the voices were obviously supposed to echo because they were in Hell. Pft. Hell is big and lonely, duh. And if they couldn't understand the accents, they should of LOOKED AT THE SUBTITLES!

The humour was very nice. Obviously you need to be somewhat in with the religous know-how to understand the end joke. It was quick and made me laugh. And, that was obviously the point.

Overall, very sweet. Expect front page.
